EXTRAORDINARY MINISTERS OF HOLY COMMUNION
EMHC are trained and commissioned parishioners who support the pastor in carrying the Blessed Sacrament to the sick, aged and homebound members of the parish. Ministers may assist the priest at Mass. Eucharistic ministers are faithful to the sacraments, who radiate joy and hospitality, and a style of service conveying a willingness to stay and visit rather than anxious to finish and leave.
